First-Gen Friday: Creating Legacies

It has been shown through Supreme Court Cases, such as Brown v. Board of Education (1954) that First-Generation history is Black History. In honor of Black History Month, this week’s First-Gen Friday will pay tribute to the enduring legacy of Black students in shaping the American education system. 

Join us for an insightful session with our special guest speaker, Professor Smith, as we commemorate and celebrate these remarkable achievements. The event will be held in the CSD Conference Room from 3PM to 5PM. We eagerly anticipate your presence as we honor these Black victories together.
