Description

How do foreign governments lobby the US government? What are their aims? What are their means? How can it influence the policy sphere, including at think-tanks, NGOs, and companies? Can it be for good or for bad? And how successful is it?

Join Dr. Ben Freeman from the Quincy Institute on 1 April 5:30PM at Blow 332 to learn about some of the US' top lobbyists, from China to Canada, the UAE to Japan. Dr. Freeman is director of the Democratizing Foreign Policy program at the Quincy Institute. He investigates money in politics, defense spending, and foreign influence in America.

For anyone interested in international development, government, and economics. Students are encouraged to ask questions.
