Alternative Dispute Resolution Team
About
The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Team is an ABA Student Division Program dedicated to helping law students hone practical skills through competitions that focus on methods of dispute resolution other than litigation, such as negotiation, arbitration and mediation. The ADR Team offers in-depth training and experience in these methods of dispute resolution for students planning to enter either transactional or litigation-focused legal practice. Each fall the ADR Team selects new 1L and 2L members through an in-house competition focusing on negotiation and arbitration. William & Mary ADR Team members compete in regional, national, and international competitions in all ADR disciplines that span a wide range of legal specializations, including environmental law, employment law, and sports law.
