We're here to love.
Greater City is a movement of college students seeking to love those living through social displacement and poverty in Williamsburg.
We're a coalition of students at William & Mary from a variety of denominations, united in mind and purpose under the banner of Jesus. We see the Gospel as a world-changing revolution, bringing restoration and making the least into the greatest. Moreover, in a city where nearly one in five people live below the poverty line, we see poverty as a complex issue directly related to the loss of a support network.
So we're here to build a new one. Nutritious meals serve as our starting point and allow us to foster supportive, lasting friendships between college students and their neighbors, ultimately meeting a variety of needs--physical, relational, and spiritual.
