Immigration Law & Service Society

This group aims to serve the immigration needs of the Virginia and DC communities. Partnering with non-profits and law firms, ILSS members volunteer at naturalization clinics, give legal presentations on immigration law topics and changes, coordinate professional networking events to connect law students with legal practitioners in the immigration field, and host fundraising drives to benefit local refugees. Finally, this group attempts to add to the national conversation on immigration reform through hosting symposiums and speakers and facilitating workshops on a variety of immigration law topics.
