Shotokan Karate

Shotokan Karate is a Sport Club run through Campus Recreation. We meet for training twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30-9 pm in Adair Gym. We hold and attend many events throughout the year, including fundraisers and profit shares as well as tournaments, camps, belt tests, and special training. Our primary instructor is Sensei Steve Pohle. Shotokan at W&M is a member of the ISKF (International Shotokan Karate Federation) and the ECCKU (East Coast Collegiate Karate Union).
