Library Ambassadors
About
Library Ambassadors act as impromptu liaisons to students and faculty as some of the most informed individuals regarding W&M Libraries and their resources. We strive to improve library resources and accessibility, especially with digital learning tools. We have created the express printing station, have held movie events, distributed appreciation goodie bags to library employees, tabled for One Tribe One Day donations and finals season cookies at Swem, hosted ice cream socials, participated in student focus group sessions for the Digital Research Lab and digital tools discussions, created an online shop for ambassadors merch, held Special Collections tours, and more! We promote library and campus-wide events, including sponsoring therapy dogs & therapy bunnies, art therapy workshops, scavenger hunts, Traditions Weekend, OTOD, etc. Please come tell us what you would like to see in Swem Library! All majors are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you love the library, this organization is perfect for you! Dinner provided for free at each meeting.
