Minorities in Medicine

 “Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students” (MAPS) is a student organization intended to promote the advancement of minority students who follow a pre-medical or pre-health career path. This organization gives support to these students in the form of encouragement, advising, and external resources. “Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students” strives to provide equitable opportunities for minority pre-health students through the promotion of resources that may serve as tools for academic and extracurricular achievement. Such resources will aid students in preparing to matriculate into their respective health professional schools. "MAPS" is also recognized as an SNMA-MAPS, Minority Association for Pre-Medical Students, chapter.
